DFCI Radiation Oncology Patient Statusboard

Background

Radiation Oncology needed help building a management system that will allow them to easily track patient’s onboarding process to receiving radiation therapy. There are various data that might need to be collected asynchronously for each patient that must be approved by a clinician.  Admins must confirm that each patient’s insurance is valid for proceeding. I coached the engineering team on product management, agile processes, and design thinking.

Sketching and Modeling

I iterated quickly with the design team, performed several user test sessions with users, and helped model state diagrams.
